Who is still alive
A map of Gaza is drawn in white paint on a black canvas. Within it, nine survivors who escaped the inferno tell their stories. They survived the bombings — some barely, dragged from the rubble of their own homes. The film deliberately focuses on the ‘middle class’ among Palestinian refugees: a talented musician, a photographer, a social media influencer.

Nine Palestinian refugees share their memories of Gaza before October 7th. Due to travel restrictions, the film was shot in South Africa using a powerful minimalist device: a pitch-black stage with a floor-painted map. Their voices are the only archive, narrating a history of displacement and interrupted dreams.
