March 29th, 2002 was a turning point in the history of Ramallah. Israeli
troops armed invaded the city with tanks and aerial support, crushing all
resistance and bringing all aspects of life in the city to a fearful,
grinding, paralysing halt. In Terawi's film, which covers the period
leading up to, during and immediately after these events, three friends
share their experiences of anticipation, confusion, siege, and curfew.
Although united by shared feelings of frustration and anger, they are still
able to laugh about their tragedy and are determined to withstand this
latest aggression and to restore their lives and hopes all over again.
