The Ongoing Departure Toward the Land (Le Départ continu vers le Pays)

Over the course of more than 30 years of fieldwork, photographer Randa Shaath has built an extensive archive of Palestine—decades of photographs capturing the people and places she calls home. In her living room, we explore this archive together. Each photograph marks another return to *Albelad* (the homeland), and with every return, a story resurfaces. Randa holds fast to a narrative—one where hope was possible, and where a free Palestine never seemed so far away.
