The protagonist of the film is a mother, forced every day to sit by the window waiting for her only child, following the current situation in the Palestinian community of '48 and the increase in the rate of violence. However, as the mother constantly waits for her child, her worry and fear take over. She fears that at any moment someone will come to tell her bad news, but she does not interfere in everything that happens in the alley. Only at dawn, when her son returns home, does she calm down.
