The Life that Remains
This documentary – the directorial debut of renowned Tunisian actress Dorra Zarrouk – tells the poignant story of a Palestinian family forced to flee Gaza in the war after October 7, 2023, and trying to build a new life in Egypt. At its heart is Nadine, a young mother of twins, who, together with her parents and six siblings, experiences the pain of loss and the hope of returning to their devastated homeland.

The film paints an intimate portrait of the challenges faced by Palestinian refugees, highlighting their resilience and the complex emotions surrounding loss and hope.
