We follow the Alhaddad family living under the crushing weight of loss after their youngest daughter, Houda, perished. Their days are long, filled with silence, boredom, and the relentless grind of survival. Images of debris, tarps, and ruined rooftops punctuate moments of stillness. As grief unfolds in small gestures—long stares, hushed tones, restrained tears—the family teeters on a threshold: can they abandon their few remaining possessions and attempt a new beginning elsewhere, escaping both memory and place?
