The number of migrants is constantly increasing and is now not affecting individuals and mostly young individuals but entire families. Some 156,000 asylum seekers entered Germany in 2017 and 5014 died/disappeared travelling in the same year. The phenomenon also affects many young Palestinian refugees in Lebanon who, despite the risks, do not give up the search for a new destination country, convinced that they find better living conditions abroad than those that Lebanon reserves for them.
